In the halls of the Ridotto, the heart of the XVIII Century magnificent Carnival of Venice, a music theatre show about the life of the young Casanova with singers, dancers acrobats and a live orchestra in the unique costumes of the Atelier Tiepolo. After dinner historical group dances and waltzes directed by a Dance Master. Dress Code: costume.

The eveneing will be revived by music, a classic one and a modern one.
Masks are indeed a constant presence in the everyday life and the subtile game, between fiction and reality, is the reflex of the anphibious identity of Venice. Colombina is the name of a venician mask of Art Comedy, the sharp servant, fiancée of Arlecchino. Malicious woman who manages to convice the beloved to satisfy every whish of hers. During the evening is forseen a procession of the most extravagant costumes and masks, with Sound & Pictures and explanations.
Beginning at 21.00 wiht an elegant wellcome cocktail accompanied by Quartetto Barocco and Soprano.
At 21.45 Seated Gala Dinner, followed by the great spectacle of Sound & Pictures masks.

Resplendent in historical costume, our guests will attend the official Ball of the Venice Carnival. Enter in the magic world of the Venetian 18th Century. In the candle-lit setting of palazzo Pisani-Moretta, overlooking the Canal Grande and frescoed by Giovanbattista Tiepolo, mimes, magicians and acrobats will perform while you enjoy your cocktails and the superb Dinner. Two orchestras will play to accompany your dances ‘till early morning. Dress Code: historical costume.

Tonight Giustina Renier will welcome for his famous guests a soirée rich in balls typical of her epoch, such as minuettoes, rondò, badineries and waltzers.
The eveneing will be revived by music, a classic one and a modern one.
Giustina Renier Michiel: the last gentlewoman of ‘700: grandchild of the last two Dogi of Venice, she soon expressed various cultural interests and published in french “The Origin of Venician Feasts. Her venician salon, at Corte Contarina at Saint Moisè, was visited by Foscolo, Canova, Pindemonte, M.me De Stael, Cesarotti, Rossini, Lord Byron, Cesare Cantù, and soon became a place of lively cultural meetings.
“…Sturgeons of astonishing size: excellent trouts did not let us envy at all the famous rhombus of Domiziano; and to the oysters of our Arsenale, to surpass the reputation of lucrinas, lacked only a poet who praised them. The early fruits of our coasts and of our islands revealed the blissful fecundity of their soil. The wine was poured abundantly, this incited more and more to toast friendship, common happiness…”.

 Ball of Louis du Soleil

At Carnival in Venice, the nocturnal lanes come alive with mystery,
the moon casts reflections on the winding canals,
and we evoke, for you, the opulence of an 18th century ball,
set against the background of the overwhelming original stage!
Le Grand Monarque, Le Roi Soleil has returned from a journey across the Seven Seas and invites you to a magnifcent ball in the splendid halls of the Zenobio Palace, where you will be welcomed as a member of the court. He is bringing back invaluable treasures from foreign lands, amazing delicacies and exquisite wines.
At the entrance of the palace, birds of fire dance along the canal, beyond the heavy doors a harpist plays, and the champagne flows. Fire breathers, musicians, and mystery beckon the guests into the fairy-tale-like garden. At a sign of the master of ceremonies, the invited guests follow him into the sea of lights that is the gilded ballroom.
Celebrated performers and intoxicating cuisine will envelope your senses.

The Ball will be located in the authentic Venice, in a 14th century Palazzo Papafava.
With its precious gothic facade & its elegant quadriform gothic windows overlooking the canal of the Misericordia. The palace will be entirely candlelit to create a memorable atmosphere.
The eveneing will be revived by music, a classic one and a modern one.
The evening will be dedicated to Giovan Battista Pergolesi.The “La serva padrona” is a famous comic intermezzo in which Terpina (soprano), is the servant of Uberto (basso) and wishes to marry him to change her social status. By the help of Vespone (mimo) she devises a deceit to force Uberto to take that step.
The final crowns with an amusing duets the victory of the brave Serpina
Beginning at 21.00 wiht an elegant wellcome cocktail accompanied by Quartetto Barocco and Soprano.

 MASCHERANDA

In the magical night of the Carnival of 2009, candlelight in the most charming Palace of Venice, facing the Grand Canal, among precious scenographies and the 18th frescos, you’ll be the welcome guests at the Mask Ball Mascheranda.
Within the fancy dress, wrapt in the mystery of one’s own mask, you’ll dance with venetian and foreign masks, in the great game of transgression and seduction.
At the arrival in the main Saloon richly decorated, artists and musicians will welcome the guests entertaining them with games and performances. In the entry Saloon a mysterious aperitif will be served .
The masks will then be invited to go upstairs , where in the Guarana , Longhi and Tiepolo Saloons a grand traditional Gala dinner will be served , with a live classical music performance .
During and all along the evening , music , fantasy, entertainments , colour and warmth, will be the frames for the magic of the Party going on with a Show of international worldwide famous artists and performers , the School of Historical Dances , the Casanova of the Year Election and the great Mask Balls in the Main Saloon with surprises and games based on the theme of the Party.

An evening to revive the atmosphere of a Renaissance Ball at an european court. And if an ensemble of musicians in epoch costume will play, as in the past, medieval and renaissance musics, with ancient instruments, four dancers will introduce the guests in the magic atmosphere of the Renaissance era.
